Miami, FL — management, scientific & technical consulting

Decisions get better once the guesswork leaves the room.

ADVERTISEMENT AND MARKETING LLC diagnoses what's actually happening inside a business — its market, its data, its operations — before recommending what to do about it.

What we do

Four disciplines, one engagement team

Most firms sell either creative work or a slide deck. We pair the two with the research and operational rigor to make either one hold up.

Market & brand strategy

We define what a business stands for, who it's for, and how that gets said consistently across every channel it shows up in — before a single asset gets produced.

  • Positioning and messaging frameworks
  • Brand architecture for multi-product or multi-market businesses
  • Campaign strategy and channel planning
  • Naming and category definition

Research & analysis

Quantitative and qualitative work that replaces assumption with evidence: who the customer actually is, what the market will actually bear, and where competitors are actually vulnerable.

  • Market sizing and segmentation
  • Customer interviews and survey research
  • Competitive and pricing analysis
  • Statistical modeling and forecasting

Management consulting

Strategy fails when the organization behind it can't execute it. We look at structure, workflow and incentives as closely as we look at the market.

  • Operating model and org design
  • Process improvement and workflow mapping
  • Vendor and agency structure review
  • Change management support

Technical & data advisory

The scientific and technical side of the practice: making sure the systems behind marketing and management decisions produce numbers people can actually trust.

  • Marketing technology stack review
  • Analytics and measurement framework design
  • Dashboard and reporting build-out
  • Data quality and attribution audits
How an engagement runs

Five stages, in order

Nothing gets recommended before it's been checked against evidence. That's the whole method, applied consistently regardless of engagement size.

01

Diagnose

Stakeholder interviews, a review of existing data, and a plain read of what's actually happening — separate from what the org chart or the last strategy deck says is happening.

02

Analyze

Market data, customer behavior, financials and competitive positioning get examined together, not as separate workstreams that get reconciled at the end.

03

Design

A strategy or operating model built for what the analysis actually showed — not a template adapted to fit the client's name.

04

Deploy

Implementation support alongside internal teams. We stay through the launch rather than handing over a deck and stepping back.

05

Measure

Defined metrics and a review cadence, so the work keeps paying off — and keeps getting corrected — after the formal engagement ends.

Fit

Whether this is the right kind of help

Consulting firms tend to oversell fit. Here's the plain version.

Not a fit if you need

  • Creative production with no strategy behind it
  • A generic industry report, not analysis of your business
  • A decision made for you without your team's input
  • Same-week turnaround on a full engagement

A fit if you need

  • Evidence before a strategy gets committed to
  • Marketing and operations looked at together
  • A team that stays through implementation
  • Findings you can defend to a board or investor
Client feedback

What clients said, in their words

Representative feedback shared with permission; names withheld at clients' request.

We had three prior agencies produce three different positioning statements. This was the first time someone showed us the data behind the recommendation instead of just the recommendation.

They pushed back on our own assumptions about who our customer was. Turned out we were pricing to the wrong segment entirely.

The reporting dashboard alone was worth the engagement — we'd been making six-figure decisions off numbers nobody had actually checked.

Questions

Common questions

What does "management, scientific and technical consulting" mean here?+

It's the classification our work falls under: strategy and operations advice (management), research and data analysis (scientific), and the systems that support both (technical). In practice it means marketing decisions get made the way a research question would be — with a hypothesis, a check against evidence, and a conclusion.

How long does a typical engagement run?+

Most run eight to fourteen weeks, depending on scope. A narrow research project can run shorter; a full operating-model redesign runs longer. We scope the timeline before anything starts, not after.

Do you work with small or early-stage companies?+

Yes, alongside larger organizations. The method doesn't change with size — the scope does. A smaller engagement might focus on a single question, like pricing or positioning, rather than a full operating review.

Can we hire you for research only, without a strategy engagement?+

Yes. Market sizing, competitive analysis and customer research are available as standalone projects, separate from the full five-stage engagement.

How is pricing structured?+

Fixed-fee per engagement, scoped after an initial diagnostic call, not hourly billing. You'll have a total figure in writing before anything is signed.

Do you execute the marketing work, or only advise on it?+

Both, depending on what's needed. Some clients want strategy and hand execution to an internal team or agency; others want us to stay through implementation. We scope this explicitly rather than assuming.
